ผู้สูงอายุ

ความหมายของผู้สูงอายุ ตามพระราชบัญญัติผู้สูงอายุ พ.ศ. 2546 ได้ให้ความหมายไว้คือ บุคคลที่มีอายุ 60 ปีบริบูรณ์ขึ้นไป ความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้น ความแก่ ย่อมเป็นธรรมดาของทุกชีวิต และแม้ว่าร่างกายของเราในวัยสูงอายุจะเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในทางเสื่อมมากกว่าการเติบโตก็ตาม แต่ก็พบว่าร่างกายแต่ละคนมีความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นไม่เท่ากัน ด้วยเหตุปัจจัยหลายอย่าง สิ่งสำคัญนั้นคือ พฤติกรรมของเราในการดูแลสุขภาพอย่างไรนั่นเอง
