โควิด-19 เป็นโรคติดต่อที่เกดิขึ้นเมื่อปลายปี 2019 ที่ประเทศจีนเป็นประเทศแรก หลังจากนั้นโรคนี้ก็ได้แพร่กระจายไปทั่วโลกอย่างรวดเร็วภายในระยะเวลาเพียง 1 ปีเท่านั้น ด้วยการมาของโรคนี้ทำให้คนทั่วโลกเห็นความสำคัญของแมสก์ หรือหน้ากากปิดจมูกและปาก และแอลกอฮอลล้างมือ เนื่องจาก 2 สิ่งนี้เป็นตัวที่ทำให้เราลดความเสี่ยงได้มากจากการติดโรคนี้ อีกวิธีหนึ่งที่ลดความเสี่ยงได้คือการไม่อยู่ใกล้ชิดกับผู้ป่วยโควิด ซึ่งผ่านมาเกือบ 3 ปีแล้ว โรคนี้ก็ไม่มีทีท่าว่าจะหายไปจากโลกนี้ในเร็ววันนี้ได้เลย
