จากการที่ได้รับงานเพิ่มจากพี่ที่เกษียณอายุราชการไปคืองานหนังสือส่งซ่อมคือการนำหนังสือที่ฝ่ายบริการส่งหนังสือที่ชำรุดมาซ่อมบำรุง เพื่อนำมาเข้าระบบว่าเป็นหนังสือส่งซ่อม (in repair) เพื่อให้เจ้าหน้าที่และผู้ใช้บริการทราบว่าเป็นหนังสือที่ถูกส่งมาซ่อมบำรุง และเมื่อหนังสือซ่อมบำรุงเสร็จเรียบร้อยแล้วก็จะต้องนำมาเขียนเลขหมู่หนังสือใหม่ ชื่อเรื่องหนังสือใหม่ จึงได้ทำสลิปเสียบไว้กับตัวเล่มหนังสือ ในสลิปจะมี่เลขหมู่หนังสือ ชื่อเรื่องหนังสือ ให้เจ้าหน้าที่ที่มีหน้าที่เขียนสันได้ดูโดยไม่ต้องเปิดไปหาเลขหมู่ และชื่อเรื่องในเล่ม และใส่ลำดับที่ของหนังสือซ่อมเพื่อหาตัวเล่มได้ง่ายขึ้นเมื่อมีเจ้าหน้าที่หรื่อผู้ใช้ร้องขอ สามารถดูจากสลิปที่เสียบไปกับตัวเล่มได้เลย
