ทุกวันหยุดข้าพเจ้าจะเดินทางกลับบ้านที่ อ.สามพราน และชอบไปไหว้พระที่ศาลหลวงปู่จ้อย วัดบางช้างเหนือ และวัดนี้อยู่ติดกับริมแม่น้ำท่าจีน ข้าพเจ้าชอบไปนั่งเล่น อากาศเย็นสบาย เริ่มสังเกตเห็นความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นจากแม่น้ำท่าจีน จากแต่ก่อนคนที่อาศัยอยู่แถวนี้ใช้ประโยชน์จากแม่น้ำสายนี้ในการอุปโภคและบริโภค และใช้น้ำในการเพาะปลูกพืช ผัก ผลไม้ ฯลฯ แม่น้ำสายนี้ยังเป็นเส้นทางในการสัญจรทางเรือ
