โควิด-19 กับหอสมุดฯ เป็นไปอย่างเนิบนาบและเราไม่อยากคิดมาก เนื่องจากเป็นช่างที่พวกเรากำลังอลหม่านกับการเตรียมงานทับแก้วบุ๊คแฟร์ และ Book and Beverage ที่จัดระหว่าง 17 – 23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2563  พวกเรายุ่งกับภารกิจที่จะเกิดขึ้น จึงพักเรื่องไวรัสไว้ก่อน ต่างภาวนากันว่าขออย่าได้เกิดอะไรขึ้นตอนนี้เลย แต่ในเสียงแว่วๆ นั้นเป็นข่าวของคนไทยรายแรกที่ติดเชื้อและอยู่ที่จังหวัดนครปฐม

พวกเราหลายคนได้ผ่านช่วงชีวิตของไข้หวัดซาร์ เมื่อปี พ.ศ.2546 แล้ว แต่ไม่นานทุกอย่างก็ซาลงไป หากที่หอสมุดฯ ยังเหลือร่องรอยของมาตรการดังกล่าวคือเจลล้างมือ ที่ผลิตโดยคณะเภสัชศาสตร์ ยังคงวางกระจายตามมุมต่างๆ ภายในห้องสมุด และเครื่องวัดอุณหภูมิที่หน้าผากแบบดิจิทัล ที่เก็บเงียบๆ หากยังคงทำหน้าที่ของตนเองอย่างซื่อสัตย์  ระหว่างสถานการณ์ที่เริ่มรุนแรงขึ้นนอกจากจะซื้อแล้วคณะฯ ยังได้บริจาคให้กับทุกหน้วยงานในมหาวิทยาลัยอีกด้วย
