เมื่อวันหยุดที่ผ่านมา ได้มีโอกาสได้ไปสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่มีชื่อเสียงของจังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม ดอนหอยหลอด ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ตำบลบางจะเกร็ง จุดเด่นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวแห่งนี้คือการจับหอยหลอดที่ฝังตัวอยู่ในเลน ซึ่งพบว่าจำนวนหอยหลอดอาศัยอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก กิจกรรมที่สามารถพาบุตรหลานไปทำกิจกรรมช่วงปิดเทอม คือ หยอดปูนจับหอยหลอด ล่องเรือชมวิวป่าชายเลนและปากแม่น้ำแม่กลอง หรือจะนั่งรับประทานอาหารชมวิวทะเล และยังสามารถสักการะศาลกรมหลวงชุมพรเขตอุดมศักดิ์ ซึ่งประดิษฐานบริเวณดอนหอยหลอด นอกจากจะมีร้านอาหารยังมีร้านค้าขายของฝาก เช่น หอยหลอดสด-แห้ง, อาหารทะเลตากแห้ง, กะปิคลองโคนที่ขึ้นชื่อว่าอร่อย ราคาไม่แพง
